Meet adorable twin cats Iriss and Abyss from Saint Petersburg who have been fascinating people social media with their beautiful heterochromatic (different coloured) eyes. Heterochromia is a genetic eye condition that means that someone has different coloured eyes as a result of the melanin level in eyes. The cats are neither Angora or Turkish Van breeds, but that they are cross bred from a white cat (their mother) and a black and white cat (their father). Their proud owner has shared pictures of the pretty cats with over 47,000 of their followers onInstagram. He has shared pictures of the cats posing next to beautiful flower arrangements, perfectly balancing balls on their head and wearing Star Trek uniforms. He also said that through the miracle of mother nature that the cats were born with blond fur and heterochromatic eyes.
